Abstract

The invention discloses a system and method for improving storage performance of an RAID (redundant array of independent disks) group. The method for improving the storage performance of the RAID group comprises the following steps of: receiving a write request, wherein the write request is carried with write data; when the running state of the RAID group is abnormal, storing some or all the write data to an accelerating hard disk module; and when the running state of the RAID group recovers normal, writing some or all the write data stored in the accelerating hard disk module to a member disk of the RAID group. By the method, the integral performance of the RAID can be improved; and the resource waste caused by slowly replacing the member disk can be avoided, and the data reconstruction time of the RAID group is increased.
