Problems solved by technology

Although blind frequency offset estimation has high bandwidth efficiency because it can realize frequency offset estimation without additional information, but because it usually needs to use the second-order statistical characteristics of the received signal, the calculation amount of this type of estimation method is too large , so the blind estimation method is rarely used in the actual communication system, and then the data-assisted frequency offset estimation method has become a widely used frequency offset estimation method

Embodiment Construction

[0027] Below in conjunction with accompanying drawing and specific embodiment the present invention is described in further detail:

[0028] figure 1 It is a model diagram of the OFDM system, and the modulation and demodulation of the OFDM system can be completed by the inverse discrete Fourier transform (IDFT) and the discrete Fourier transform (DFT) shown in the figure; X k Represents the modulated data on the kth subcarrier, k represents the serial number of the subcarrier, and N represents the length of the DFT operation; x n Represents the output signal after the IDFT operation, r(n) represents the signal received by the receiving end, and y(k) represents the output signal after the DFT operation.

[0029] figure 2 It is a structural diagram of the reconstructed PN sequence in the frequency offset estimation method of the present invention. It can be seen from the figure that the frequency offset estimation method of the present invention divides the received PN sequen...

Abstract

The invention discloses a PN sequence reconstruction-based frequency offset estimation method, which comprises the following steps: reconstructing the received PN sequence with length of N, forming a new PN sequence; utilizing frequency offset information in the formed new PN sequence to obtain a frequency offset rough estimation value, finishing the rough estimation process of frequency offset; compensating the frequency offset rough estimation value to the originally received PN sequence with length of N to calculate a fine frequency offset estimation value, and obtaining the final frequency offset estimation value. By reconstructing the PN sequence, the estimation precision of the frequency offset estimation method is improved by obtaining average value of a plurality of estimation values and performing rough and fine estimation processes.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to mobile communication technology, in particular to a frequency offset estimation method based on PN sequence reconstruction. Background technique [0002] OFDM technology has attracted widespread attention due to its high data transmission capability and anti-multipath delay extension characteristics, and is one of the important options for the next generation of wireless communication systems. However, the system using OFDM technology is very sensitive to frequency offset, which will cause the performance of OFDM system to deteriorate sharply. In a practical system, due to the inconsistency of the oscillator frequencies at the transmitting end and the receiving end and the Doppler effect caused by the movement of the mobile station, frequency offset will occur. Frequency offset estimation is to estimate the frequency offset value through some methods and compensate it to the received signal, so as to reduce the deterioration o...
