Problems solved by technology

It can be seen that in the 6rd implementation of the existing solution, each message needs to be checked twice on the CE device or BR device, and the message processing efficiency is not high.

Embodiment 1

[0031] image 3 Shows a method for realizing IPv6 message traversing IPv4 network, the method is suitable for figure 1 The networking environment shown. In this networking environment, both the CE device and the BR device have enabled the 6rd function, and both the CE device and the BR device are dual-stack devices. According to the relevant 6rd standards or specifications, when the 6rd function is enabled, the Internet Service Provider (ISP) assigns the following parameters to the CE device: CE's IPv4 address and 6rd parameters, where the 6rd parameters include: 6rd domain IPv4 common prefix length, 6rd domain IPv4 common suffix length, 6rd prefix, 6rd prefix length, 6rd BR IPv4 address. Among them, the CE device will calculate and synthesize the 6rd representative prefix (the IPv4 address of the CE device is embedded in the prefix) according to the 6rd prefix and the IPv4 address of the CE device. When assigning an IPv6 address to the client, the 6rd representative prefix ...

Embodiment 2

[0052] Figure 4 Shows a method for realizing IPv6 message traversing IPv4 network, the method is suitable for figure 1 The networking environment shown. In this networking environment, the 6rd function is enabled on both the CE device and the BR device. Both the CE device and the BR device are dual-stack devices. A 6rd tunnel, that is, an IPv6-in-IPv4 tunnel, has been established between the CE device and the BR device. For details on the configuration of the BR device, see 6rd related standards or specifications.

[0053] Figure 4 The method shown is applied to BR equipment, refer to Figure 4 , the method may include the following steps:

[0054] Step 401, receiving the IPv4 message sent by the CE device through the IPv6-in-IPv4 tunnel in the IPv4 network;

[0055] Step 402, judging whether there is a session entry corresponding to the IPv4 message in the IPv4 session table, if so, enter step 404, otherwise, enter step 403;

[0056] When an IPv4 packet is received fr...

Abstract

The invention provides a method and a device for realizing traverse of an IPv6 message to an IPv4 network. The method comprises the following steps: when receiving the IPv6 message sent by a client, judging whether an IPv6 session table has a session table item corresponding to the IPv6 message or not, so as to obtain a first judging result; if the first judging result is yes, increasing an IPv4 masthead to the IPv6 message to obtain an IPv4 message, and sending the IPv4 message to a BR device through an IPv6-in-IPv4 channel in the IPv4 network; and when the first judging result is no, increasing an IPv4 masthead to the IPv6 to obtain the IPv4 message according to the IPv4 addresses of the CE and BR devices, and sending the IPv4 message to the BR device through the IPv6-in-IPv4 channel and adding a session table item corresponding to the IPv6 message in the IPv6 session table as well as adding the session table item corresponding to the IPv4 in the IPv4 session table. According to the invention, the message processing efficiency in 6rd can be improved.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of network communication, in particular to a method and equipment for realizing IPv6 message traversing IPv4 network. Background technique [0002] With the rapid development of Internet technology around the world, the demand for IP addresses has become extremely urgent. Because IPv6 is incompatible with IPv4, the smooth transition from IPv4 to IPv6 becomes the key to the success of IPv6 in the network environment dominated by IPv4. At present, the latest transition technologies include 6rd, DS-lite, A+P, NAT64, and PNAT. [0003] 6rd (IPv6 rapid deployment on IPv4 infrastructures, IPv6 rapid deployment) is a method that can quickly provide end users with IPv6 services, and provides a way for operators to introduce IPv6 services in the early stage of IPv6 transition. figure 1 It is the basic networking diagram of 6rd, refer to figure 1 , a complete 6rd domain is composed of a series of customer edge devi...
