Abstract

The invention relates to an electric arc spraying powder core wire with high-temperature resistance and chlorine corrosion resistance. The powder core wire comprises a powder core and an outer skin for coating the powder core, wherein the powder core is prepared by mixing the following components by weight percent: 6-15% of Ti powder, 14-22% of Cr powder, 15-25% of CrB2 powder, 7-15% of Ni-coated Al powder, and the balance of Ni powder. The wire is prepared by using the following steps of: (1) weighting all the powder core raw materials according to a ratio; (2) mixing all the powder core raw materials; (3) coating the mixed powder core raw materials by the outer skin to form a rough wire; and (4) lightening the rough wire in a step-by-step manner so as to form a finished wire. The electric arc spraying powder core wire with high-temperature resistance and chlorine corrosion resistance, disclosed by the invention, can form a continuous compact protective coating on a metal base material after being sprayed by an electric arc, particularly being sprayed by the electric arc at a supersonic speed; and the protective coating has high-temperature resistance and chlorine corrosion resistance, is low in raw material cost, and is widely applied to surface protection on devices under a high-temperature and chlorine-corrosion environment.
