Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical print head that can satisfy both of the high speed data transmission and securing of signal quality corresponding to narrow width, high density and high-speed writing. SOLUTION: The optical print head includes: an organic EL substrate 101 that has a plurality of light emitting sources 102 and the electrode wiring; a lens array 105 that performs image formation of the light beam of the light emitting sources 102 on an irradiated plane; a housing 106 having a bumping part 106a holding the organic EL substrate 101 and the lens array 105 and touching a face plate of the image forming apparatus; a printed board 107 that has a driving control circuit 150 that controls driving of the light emitting source 102 and signal wiring of the driving control circuit 150, and maintains the housing 106; and a biasing means that makes the bumping part 106a abut on the face plate by biasing the printed board 107 to the irradiated plane side in a parallel direction to the substrate surface. The printed board 107 maintains the housing 106 so that the electrode wiring and the signal wiring may be connected, as the substrate surface and the light axis of the lens array 105 become in parallel.
