Abstract

The invention discloses a detection method for rejecting a mica paper capacitor degraded product. By the method, the exposure probability of unqualified and poor electrical properties of a mica paper capacitor in a low-air pressure and high-voltage state can be remarkably improved, and the degraded product can be rejected in advance. According to the technical scheme, the method comprises the following steps of: a) converting the altitude of a working environment of the mica paper capacitor into atmospheric pressure, comparing the converted atmospheric pressure with actual atmospheric pressure during a test, and calculating atmospheric pressure required by detection equipment; b) placing the mica paper capacitor to be tested into a sealed box of the detection equipment, vacuumizing the sealed box by utilizing a vacuum pump on the detection equipment, and monitoring whether atmospheric pressure in the sealed box reaches a required atmospheric pressure value or not by using an air pressure gauge connected to the sealed box; and c) applying working voltage of which a voltage value is 1.5 to 2.2 times that of the rated voltage of the mica paper capacitor to the mica paper capacitor in the sealed box by using voltage application equipment of the detection equipment, preserving the voltage for 30 to 90 seconds, and testing dielectric withstanding voltage.
