The converting station hot-line work robot insulation protection system comprises a working machine and a remote command vehicle. A revolving platform is arranged on the working machine and provided with a plurality sections of insulation arms, corresponding hydraulic drive mechanisms are arranged on the insulation arms, the insulation arm at the forefront end is connected with a robot insulated operation platform, the robot insulated operation platform is provided with a mechanical claw device used for operation, and the insulation arm at the forefront end and the robot insulated operation platform are provided with devices and line insulation between phases devices. A hydraulic servo drive control box of the mechanical claw device is provided with an insulation device which is matched with the system. The remote command vehicle is in wireless communication with a control device, the control device controls walking of the working machine and movement of each insulation arm through the hydraulic drive mechanisms, and the control device further controls movement of the mechanical claw device through a servo control component.
