This paper discloses a communication headset. The headset includes two earpieces: a first earpiece having a first arm that can be positioned in front of the wearer's ear and a second arm that can be positioned behind the wearer's ear, wherein a first bone conduction speaker is positioned on the second arm. and a second earpiece having a first arm that may be positioned in front of the wearer's ear and a second arm that may be positioned behind the wearer's other ear, wherein a second bone conduction speaker is disposed on the second arm. A first microphone is arranged on the first earpiece and adapted to detect ambient sound in at least a first direction. A second microphone is arranged on the second earpiece and adapted to detect ambient sound in at least a second direction.
