Embodiment Construction

[0049] The specific embodiments of the present invention will be further described below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.

[0050] Such as Figure 4 As shown, in an ideal integrated system, all the backup, storage and virtualization functions need only be provided by an integrated server, and the protected user computers are directly connected to the integrated server. The functions to be realized are: 1. Regularly back up the changed and incremental data to the storage medium managed by the integrated server. 2. When the user's computer suffers from a disaster, the integrated server will generate a virtual computer that is exactly the same as the user's original computer based on the backup data stored locally to take over the work of the user's original computer to ensure the continuity of the user's business.

[0051] In order to realize the above-mentioned scheme of realizing backup, storage, and virtualization on one server, the present invention designs a ...

Abstract

The invention discloses an enterprise information technology (IT) business virtualization disaster recovery method based on a zettabyte file system (ZFS) and a kernel-based virtual machine (KVM) kernel virtual underlying system. The enterprise IT business virtualization disaster recover method based on the ZFS and the KVM kernel virtual underlying system comprises a step of data block level incremental backup at regular intervals and a step of virtualization disaster relief, wherein all functions of backup, storage and virtualization are provided by one server. A user is directly connected with an integrated server by a protective computer, and changing incremental data is backed up to a storage medium managed by the integrated server at regular intervals. When the computer of the user is affected by a disaster, the integrated server generates a virtual computer which is totally the same as the original computer of the user according to the back-up data stored in local, the virtual computer substitutes the original computer of the user to continue working, and therefore the continuity of the business of the user is guaranteed. Historical data of any back-up time points can also be virtualized to be a virtual computer, the normal operation of the original computer does not need to be interfered, and the virtual computer is utilized to test or diagnose troubles. The enterprise IT business virtualization disaster recovery method based on the ZFS and the KVM kernel virtual underlying system can overcome the defects of resource wasting, complicated structure and unstable communication among traditional framework multiple nodes and the like.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of enterprise data protection, in particular to an enterprise data protection realization method integrating backup, storage and virtualization functions. Background technique [0002] In today's enterprise operating environment, the infrastructure of computer IT systems is becoming more and more complex, among which storage servers, virtualization servers, and data protection systems are the infrastructure that many enterprises need. To protect production data, users need to create regular storage backups while minimizing the storage capacity used, the impact on production I / O, and the time to restore production data. [0003] A typical storage server usage is as figure 1 shown. A typical storage server manages massive storage media, and its function is relatively simple, which is to directly provide disk space storage services for various users. Storage servers support various protocols (such as SAN and NAS proto...
