Abstract

The invention discloses a communication device and method of a controller of a multi-couple unit air conditioning unit capable of achieving simultaneous cooling and heating. The communication device comprises outdoor units, valve cage devices and indoor units. A communication selection switch is arranged inside each valve cage device. When a communication selection switch is switched off, an outdoor unit and an indoor unit are disconnected, the outdoor unit and a valve cage device are disconnected, and the valve cage device can only be communicated with the indoor unit which is connected with the valve cage device. When the communication selection switch is closed, communication data can be directly received and sent between the indoor unit and the outdoor unit. Inner units connected with each valve cage device can be judged through the communication selection switches. After the judgment is finished, the outdoor units can normally communicated with the indoor units without valve cages except that states of magnetic valves of the valve cage devices are controlled. The valve cages are installed on a communication bus, and installation positions are relatively free, thereby being beneficial for solving the noise problem. Besides, no special arrangement is needed on common indoor units, and complete compatibility between cooling-heating air conditioning indoor units and common indoor units is achieved.
