Embodiment Construction

[0023] Various exemplary embodiments, features, and aspects of the present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings.

[0024] A first exemplary embodiment will now be described. like Figure 1A As shown, the matrix substrate for the detection device and the detection device according to the present exemplary embodiment each include a pixel array including a plurality of pixels 101 arranged in a matrix of rows and columns on a support substrate 100 . The pixels 101 serve to output electrical signals in response to radiation or light incident thereon. Each pixel 101 includes: a conversion element 102 for converting radiation or light into charges; and a switching element 103 for outputting an electric signal corresponding to the charges generated by the conversion element 102 . Here, in the present exemplary embodiment, the conversion element 102 includes: a scintillator that converts radiation into light; and a photoelectric conve...

Abstract

A matrix substrate includes a plurality of pixels arranged in a matrix of rows and columns. In the matrix substrate a conducting voltage and a non-conducting voltage of a transistor included in a unit circuit including a demultiplexer that connects a plurality of connection terminals which are disposed to be smaller in number than the number of a plurality of driving lines which are connected in common to a plurality of pixels in a row direction and are arranged in parallel to each other in a column direction are supplied to a control line connected to a control electrode of a transistor at a frequency which is half a frequency at which a pixel is driven. Thus, a matrix substrate capable of suppressing the number of connection terminals and reducing power consumption is provided.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a matrix substrate, a detection device, and a detection system, and in particular to a matrix substrate, a detection device, and a detection system that can be applied to medical diagnostic imaging devices, non-destructive inspection devices, and analysis devices using radiation . Background technique [0002] In recent years, thin-film semiconductor manufacturing technology has been used for a matrix substrate having a pixel array in which switching elements such as thin-film transistors (TFTs) and photoelectric conversion elements such as etc. conversion elements combined. In recent years, a technique of forming a demultiplexer on the same substrate as a pixel array in a detection device has been examined. US Patent 5,536,932 discusses the following. The detecting device includes a demultiplexer provided with a plurality of TFTs arranged to respectively correspond to the plurality of gate lines between an external ...
