Problems solved by technology

Airtight gas tanks installed on land to store high-pressure gas for energy conversion have the following disadvantages: (1) Gas compressors are used to continuously compress the gas into the airtight gas tank, and the more high-pressure gas stored in the airtight gas tank , the greater the pressure on the tank wall, in order to ensure safety, the tank wall generally needs to use thick steel plates that can withstand greater pressure, which not only increases the cost, but also is not safe; (2) Installed on land The airtight gas tanks occupy a large amount of land resources, which is not conducive to the effective use of land resources that are currently in short supply; (3) is not conducive to the combination with offshore wind turbines

Embodiment Construction

[0018] The present invention will be further described below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings of the description.

[0019] Such as figure 1 As shown, a system for storing high-pressure gas on the seabed includes a gas compressor 3 arranged on land and a sealed gas tank 1 arranged below the sea level 2, and the sealed gas tank 1 is provided with a cable 4 and fixed on the seabed , the dragline 4 makes the airtight gas tank 1 can not be washed away even if it is impacted by the water flow. The gas compressor 3 communicates with the airtight gas tank 1 through the intake pipe, and the airtight gas tank 1 discharges the high-pressure gas to the energy exchange device through the exhaust pipe. The internal and external pressure difference is within the pressure range that the shell of the airtight gas tank 1 can bear. Use the gas pressure sensor (not marked) inside the airtight gas tank 1 to sense the pressure of the high-pressure gas, and use the liquid pressure sen...

Abstract

The invention relates to a system for storing high pressure gas on the seabed and a method thereof. By the utilization of a gas compressor, a gas is continuously compressed through an air inlet pipe into an enclosed gas tank arranged on the seabed, thus realizing storage of the high pressure gas. When the high pressure gas in the enclosed gas tank needs to be used, the high pressure gas is released out of the enclosed gas tank through an exhaust pipe and used for energy conversion. The difference between internal pressure and external pressure, which are applied on a housing of the enclosed gas tank when the high pressure gas is stored in or discharged out of the enclosed gas tank, is within the range of pressure that the housing of the enclosed gas tank can bear. By the adoption of the gas storage system provided by the invention, resultant force applied on the enclosed gas tank can be effectively reduced. That is to say, more high pressure gases can be filled in the enclosed gas tank, and a thick tank wall is not required for supporting. Thus, the cost of the enclosed gas tank is lower, and the enclosed gas tank arranged on the seabed is safer.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to systems and methods for energy storage, particularly storage of high pressure gas on the seabed. Background technique [0002] It is difficult to store electric energy. Therefore, during the low-peak period of electricity consumption at night, the electricity in the grid is usually in a surplus state. This part of the electricity is not used effectively and is often wasted in this way. In order to be able to re-use the surplus power of the grid, the current method is to convert the power into high-pressure gas with molecular potential energy for storage. When the high-pressure gas needs to be used again, only part of the high-pressure gas should be released to perform energy conversion again. That's it. Although there is energy loss during the energy conversion process, it can be said to be an effective method for resource utilization to effectively utilize a part of the originally wasted electric energy. The method o...
