Abstract

The invention discloses a system and a method for obtaining a complete palm vein image. The system comprises a first near-infrared LED (light emitting diode), a second near-infrared LED, a third near-infrared LED, a circuit board, a light condensation cylinder, ground glass, black shading paper, an optical imaging system, a visible-light filter and an image sensor, wherein the first near-infrared LED, the second near-infrared LED and third near-infrared LED are arranged on the bottom face of the light condensation cylinder; the ground glass is arranged on the top face of the light condensation cylinder; the optical imaging system comprises a first lens and a second lens; and the light condensation cylinder, the ground glass, the black shading paper, the optical imaging system, the visible-light filter and the image sensor are placed on the same optical axis sequentially. According to the system and the method, a light source is simple in structure; the cost is low; the purchase and fabrication are facilitated; the light condensation cylinder designed ingeniously allows emergent light to be reflected for many times to avoid light intensity loss; uniform illumination light is obtained; the imaging contrast of a vein is increased; and the complete palm vein image is obtained.
