The method comprises the following steps: measuring the mass m of a solid with the known volume v by using an electronic balance, wherein the solid is insoluble in liquid to be measured and the density of the solid is larger than that of the liquid to be measured; placing a container containing a liquid sample to be measured on the electronic balance, marking the reading of the electronic balance as m1, fixing one end of a filament, tying the other end of the filament with the solid with the mass m, soaking the solid in the liquid to be measured without touching the container, marking the reading of the electronic balance as m2, and figuring out the density of the liquid sample to be measured through the m, the m1, the m2 and the v.
