Abstract

A wind turbine generator comprises: a plurality of blades protruding from a rotor head in a radial manner around the axis of a main shaft; and a pitch axis rotation mechanism for allowing the blades to rotate around a pitch axis (P), the pitch axis rotation mechanism being provided in the rotor head. The pitch axis rotation mechanism comprises: an actuator supported on the rotor head and having an extensible rod; and a link mechanism linking the rod and the blades.
