The diverter used for the signal extraction is connected with the front end circuit used for signal conditioning through a transmission cable. The front end circuit used for the signal conditioning is connected in parallel with a DC power-supply circuit; the data acquisition and processing device includes a data acquisition card, an industrial personal computer and a data storing, processing and analyzing platform, which are connected in order; and the data storing, processing and analyzing platform displays the waveform of the leakage current and stores, analyzes and prints out acquired data. The leakage-current monitoring system in the flashover process of the icing insulator is capable of monitoring the leakage current and development and changes of local electric arcs in the flashover process of the icing insulator so that measurement, storage and analysis of a current completing process are realized.
