Abstract

The invention provides a novel method for two-dimensional tracking of the sun to overcome limitation of a conventional method for two-dimensional tracking of the sun. According to the method, all-directional tracking of the sun is achieved by tracking the projection height angle theta of the sun on the plane in the direction perpendicular to a horizontal southern direction and by tracing the included angle psi between the sunlight rays and the southern direction. A block combination method is adopted for a large-scale sun tracking heat collection device for implementing the method. Component units of the method mainly include a tubular fixing shaft 1, a servo shaft 18, a pull rod 5, a parabolic cylinder collector 8 and a parabolic cylinder collector 13, wherein the parabolic cylinder collector 8 and the parabolic cylinder collector 13 are connected with a bracket 6 and a bracket 17 respectively. The combination unit is linked with a next unit through a linking sleeve 11 and a flange 12, and linkage can be sequentially achieved as required. All the component units are all uniformly driven by a worm speed reducer 2 of a first unit and a worm speed reducer 4 of the first unit. The two worm speed reducers are controlled to operate according to time, and therefore the heat collectors can track the sun.
