Abstract

A charging method and device for charging a battery are provided. The charging device transmits a charge start request including a charge identifier and an electric meter identifier to a server, and receives a charge start response from the server as a response to the charge start request. When charging is completed, the charging device transmits charging completion indicating the amount of electric energy consumed for charging to the server, and receives charging information indicating charging information according to charging of the battery from the server.
