Abstract

The invention relates to a screen printing water-based varnish and a preparing method thereof. The screen printing water-based varnish comprises the following components by weight: 10 to 40% of an acrylic emulsion, 30 to 50% of an acrylic resin liquid, 10 to 30% of an aqueous solvent, 2 to 10% of a wax emulsion, 0.1 to 0.5% of a leveling agent, 0.1 to 0.5% of a wetting agent, 0.05 to 0.3% of a penetrating agent and 0.05 to 0.2% of a defoaming agent. The preparation method comprises the following steps: (1) dissolving the acrylic emulsion with half of the aqueous solvent and carrying out stirring for 5 minutes; (2) dissolving an acrylic resin with the other half of the aqueous solvent and carrying out stirring for 5 minutes; (3) pouring a mixed solution obtained in the step (2) into a mixed solution obtained in the step (1) and carrying out stirring for 10 minutes; (4) adding the wax emulsion, the leveling agent, the wetting agent, the penetrating agent and the defoaming agent into a mixed solution obtained in the step (3); and (5) carrying out full stirring for 20 minutes so as to obtain a uniformly mixed liquid which is a finished product. The screen printing water-based varnish provided by the invention can replace conventional UV varnish and has the advantages of high gloss, wear resistance, no pollution to the environment, no harm to health and safety in use.
