The method is applied to TS transporting-end equipment and includes filling two bits in a TOS (type of service) field into a TOS sequence number when a TS data packet is packaged; filling four bits in a CC (continuity count) field into a CC sequence number; combining the TOS sequence number with the CC sequence number to form a sequence number of the TS data packet. The TOS field is a TOS field in an IP (internet protocol) head of the TS data packet, and the two bits of the TOS field are reserved bits in the TOS field. The CC field is a CC field in a TS head.
