The invention provides a data processing method of a urine volume monitoring system. the method is characterized by including steps: lower computers are started for initializing setup parameters; an upper computer is started for reading user configuration parameters; the lower computers acquire urine volume real-time data and report to the upper computer; the upper computer receives data reported by all of the lower computers; the upper computer saves monitoring data of the lower computers; the upper computer completes real-time curve display of the monitoring data according to the setup parameters; the upper computer spontaneously judges whether the urine volume real-time monitoring data exceeds an alarm set point or not, and if yes, the upper computer conducts sound and picture flicking alarm; local alarm fades away after confirmation. The invention further comprises the urine volume monitoring system which comprises the upper computer and the lower computers, wherein the upper computer comprises a reading module, a wireless receiving module, a display module and an alarm, and each of the lower computers comprises a reading module, a liquid level infrared sensor, an acquiring module and a wireless sending module. By the aid of the urine volume monitoring system and the data processing method thereof, numerical values of the lower computers in each ward can be read simultaneously by the upper computer, thereby medical staffs at a nursing station can know urine volume situations of patients in each ward, and burden of the medical staffs is greatly relieved.
