Abstract

The invention relates to a method for evaluating pulverized coal properties. The method is characterized by comprising the steps of crushing a coal sample by a jaw crusher, and screening the coal sample by a screen being 6mm until the particle size of the coal sample is smaller than 6mm; grinding for a period of time by a ball grinding mill, screening by a screen being 1mm, calculating the proportion of pulverized coal smaller than 1mm in the total weight of raw material coal after different coal pulverizing time, taking the proportion as power yield, and respectively calculating the content of pulverized coal with the particle sizes being smaller than 200 meshes and smaller than 100 meshes; drawing a curve of the change of the proportion of the pulverized coal smaller than 1mm, the content of the pulverized coal smaller than 200 meshes and the content of the pulverized coal smaller than 100 meshes along with the time; and evaluating the pulverized coal properties of the coal sample according to the following standards: (i) if the proportion of the pulverized coal smaller than 1mm is more than 90% and the contents of pulverized coal with the particle sizes being smaller than 200 meshes and smaller than 100 meshes are respectively more than 50% and 40%, showing that the coal can be ground and can be finely ground; (ii) if the proportion of the pulverized coal smaller than 1mm is less than 90%, showing that the coal is hard to grind; and (iii) if the proportion of the pulverized coal smaller than 1mm is more than 90% and the contents of pulverized coal with the particle sizes being smaller than 200 meshes and smaller than 100 meshes are respectively less than 50% and 40% after a period of time, showing that the coal can be ground, but is poor in grinding degree.
