The oil well pump comprises a pump cylinder, a plunger, a travelling valve, a fixed valve and an oil outlet joint, wherein the plunger is arranged on the inner side of the pump cylinder; the end, provided with a chuck, of an on-off connector is connected with a drive device of the oil well pump in a clamped mode or breaks away from the drive device, the other end of the on-off connector is connected with the bottom end of the plunger, and the drive device drives the plunger to reciprocate through the on-off connector; the travelling valve is arranged on the upper portion of an inner cavity of the plunger; the fixed valve is arranged at the top end of the plunger and in an inner cavity of the pump cylinder; the oil outlet joint is connected with the top end of the pump cylinder through a sealing and locking device; the outer side of one end of a sucker rod is in threaded connection with the inner side of the oil outlet joint and is used for providing external force allowing the end, provided with the chuck, of the on-off connector to be connected with the drive device of the oil well pump in the clamped mode or break away from the drive device.
