Abstract

The invention relates to a cutting mechanism and device for cutting a flexible substrate LED light source device. The cutting mechanism is characterized in that the flexible substrate LED light source device comprises a flexible substrate provided with a plurality of strip-shaped light source modules, and a plurality of LED light sources are arranged in the strip-shaped light source modules at intervals. The cutting mechanism comprises a transmission shaft, cutters and idler wheels arranged between the adjacent cutters. The distance between every two adjacent cutters is set to correspond to the width of each strip-shaped light source module, and grooves used for containing the LED light sources are formed in the circumferential surfaces of the idler wheels. When the flexible substrate is cut, the flexible substrate is directly fixed with the idler wheels, and therefore the flexible substrate is cut. The cutting mechanism is simple in structure, and therefore the cutting cost of the flexible substrate LED light source device is reduced.
