The shooting device is used for inspecting film products made by utilizing a curved solid such as a roller. The position correction method of the shooting device for film inspection includes the following steps: pasting a film for correction on which patterns with specified area are passed on a surface of the curved solid for transferring the film; and shooting the film for correction on the curved surface by utilizing the shooting device, and comparing the size of the pattern of the obtained image with the size of a normal pattern, if the size of the pattern of the obtained image is smaller than 95% or larger than 105% of size of the normal pattern, the vertical position (the distance between the device and the film) of the shooting device is judged to be abnormal, so that the position of the shooting device for film inspection can be corrected accurately.
