Methods, apparatus, procedures and systems for self-calibration of density analyzers. The process may include measuring the density distribution of the fluid in the container with multiple sensors or a single sensor, and measuring the density distribution of the fluid in the container with multiple sampling ports. Based on the density distribution measured by the sensor, the density of the fluid near the location of at least one of the plurality of sampling ports may be interpolated. Based on the density distribution measured at the sampling port, the density of the fluid near the location of at least one of the plurality of sensors may be interpolated. Calibration of at least one of the plurality of sensors may be adjusted based on the interpolated sampling port density and the interpolated sensor density.
