Embodiment Construction

[0054] In order to make the purpose, technical means and advantages of the present application clearer, the present application will be further described in detail below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.

[0055] Figure 3a-Figure 3d Several architectures that support local offloading for small cells, where the solid line data flow represents the data flow carried by the local offload, and the dotted line data flow represents the normal (non-local offload bearer) data flow.

[0056] in, Figure 3a for the first structure. like Figure 3a As shown, in this architecture, the LGW is located in the PeNB and acts as a unit of the PeNB (called the LGW unit) to implement the functions of the LGW; the local distribution service is from the local network through the LGW unit to the PeNB and then to the SeNB. This saves the backhaul of the S1.

[0057] Figure 3b for the second structure. like Figure 3b As shown, in this architecture, the LGW is located in the SeNB ...

Abstract

The present application discloses a method, system and device for supporting local offloading of services in a small cell architecture, including: the MME notifies the master base station PeNB of the information about the local offloading bearer established for the UE, and the PeNB determines the local offloading bearer where the local offloading bearer is based on the received information. Network: when the PeNB switches the established local offload bearer between different base stations, the PeNB selects the base station inside the local network where the local offload bearer is located as the target base station for switching. Applying this application can ensure the continuity of the local offload service when the UE moves in a small cell scenario, avoid data loss, improve user experience, and enable timely and reasonable release of the local offload service bearer, saving system resources.

Description

technical field [0001] The present application relates to wireless communication technologies, and in particular to a method, system and device for supporting local service distribution in a small cell (Small cell) architecture. Background technique [0002] Modern mobile communication tends to provide users with high-speed multimedia services, such as figure 1 Shown is the system architecture diagram of System Architecture Evolution (SAE). in: [0003] User Equipment (UE) 101 is a terminal device for receiving data. Evolved Universal Terrestrial Radio Access Network (E-UTRAN) 102 is a radio access network including macro base stations (eNodeBs / NodeBs) providing UEs with an interface to access the radio network. Mobility Management Entity (MME) 103 is responsible for managing UE's mobility context, session context and security information. Serving Gateway (SGW) 104 mainly provides user plane functions, and MME 103 and SGW 104 may be in the same physical entity. The pack...
