Abstract

The invention discloses a contact area measurement method based on an image measuring technique. The method comprises the following steps: adjusting a light ray range and scattering light rays after a light source provides the light rays, thereby providing a uniform light field for contact bodies; loading the contact bodies so as to form a contact region; photographing a contact body which is loaded under a uniform light field by a camera, and collecting images of contact parts; and analyzing the images of the contact parts for boundary recognition, determining the contact width, and calculating the contact area among the contact bodies. The invention also discloses a contact area measurement system based on the image measuring technique, and the system is matched with the contact bodies and is used for measuring the contact area among the contact bodies. The system comprises a backlight module, an image collecting module and a contact area recognition module.
