Abstract

The invention relates to an active damping and an additional loading circuit of a driver for a dimmable low-voltage light-emitting diode (LED) lamp. An active control damping device for inhibiting an input current peak is provided with a sensing circuit and a reset circuit; the sending circuit senses rising of input voltage to detect the input current peak conveniently and determine the damping time slot when the input current peak is inhibited; the active control damping device can enable the input current peak to be damped and stabilized within an acceptable level range; a switch is connected with the active control damping device in parallel; when the input current peak or the input voltage is low, the sensing circuit starts to enable the switch to be on, so that the damping operation can be carried out conveniently; and the reset circuit is connected with the sensing circuit to provide a discharge path for the sensing circuit and the sensing circuit can be rapidly reset after the input current peak disappears, so that the next input current peak can be prepared to be carried out conveniently.
