Abstract

The V-method casting process comprises the following steps: preparing a mould, and heating a plastic film to be in a softening state; acting vacuum onto the softened plastic film through a ventilating hole of an exhaust box of the mould, and putting a negative-pressure sand box onto the mould; filling the sand box with dry sand by using vibrating equipment; covering the top of a sand mould inside the sand box with a sealing film, connecting a pouring basin with a sprue of an upper mould, and scraping the dry sand flat before covering a lower mould with a film; vacuumizing the sand box to form a pressure difference between the interior and the exterior of the sand mould so as to compact the dry sand, releasing vacuum of the exhaust box of the mould, inflating compressed air for backblowing, and separating the sand mould from the mould; producing the lower mould by the same method, closing the upper mould and the lower mould, and preparing pouring; further vacuumizing the sand mould in the pouring process, removing the vacuum after a cast is cooled, and taking out the cast.
