Abstract

The invention discloses a thumbnail display method executed by a browser of a computing device. The browser of the computing device can be connected with a mobile terminal through a server. The method includes: sending a file sending request message to the mobile terminal for responding to the request that a user sends a file stored in the computing device to the mobile terminal through the browser; sending a notification message including a web address of the file to the mobile terminal for responding to an answer message of the mobile terminal so as to enable the mobile terminal to download the requested file from the web address; displaying a thumbnail of the requested file by a first brightness; displaying the thumbnail of the requested file by a second brightness for responding to a message indicating completion of file transfer from the mobile terminal, wherein the second brightness is larger than the first brightness.
