The vehicle transportation management system comprises a vehicle terminal, a monitoring center and a driver's identity tag, wherein the vehicle terminal comprises a microcontroller, a satellite positioning module, a GPRS module, an RFID reading module, a fingerprint identification module and an OBD detection module which is externally connected with an OBD interface of a vehicle by a data line. Each time when the vehicle is ignited to start up, the RFID reading module searches and reads the identity tag in a driving cab and compares the driver's fingerprint information in the driver's identity tag with the driver's fingerprint information which is input in the fingerprint identification module, the OBD detection module collects the identification information of the vehicle; and the vehicle terminal sends the identification result of the driver, the driver's ID information, the vehicle's identification information and the vehicle position information to a monitoring center. The driver's working data can be highly efficiently collected, so as to provide a firm data support for establishing a visual management system in the transport process and a carrying driver credit evaluation system.
