Abstract

The invention discloses a chlorine salt refining method for a nonferrous metal, and belongs to the field of nonferrous metals. The chlorine salt refining method comprises the following steps: (1) preparing the chlorine salt; (2) pressing the chlorine salt: utilizing a compressor to compress the powdered chlorine salt to be blocky; (3) refining molten aluminum: placing the blocky chlorine salt into the molten aluminum, and prohibiting stirring; (4) refining alloy: when the blocky chlorine salt is completely dissolved, adding blocky NaBF4, and ensuring the temperature of the molten aluminum to be higher than 740 DEG C. The chlorine salt refining method disclosed by the invention solves the problems that in the existing molten aluminum refining process, dehydration treatment is required to cause complicated working procedures, and the alloy structure refinement is not thorough due to defects of the method; the refining method provided by the invention has the advantages of being simple, low in cost and easy to process.
