Abstract

The embodiments of the present invention provide an IPTV data processing method and system. The method comprises: after an access request is accepted, reading corresponding data from a designated storage module; and if the corresponding data is not read from the designated storage module, reading same from a local database. By means of the embodiments of the present invention, the JAVA memory and hard disk cache in an EPG system can be reasonably used, thereby achieving the requirements of improving the EPG performance and improving the response of a user operation.
