Abstract

The invention discloses a system and a method for supplying power to a data center. According to an embodiment, the system comprises electric supply equipment, a medium-voltage main distributing system, a diesel power generation system, a medium-voltage access system and a transformer system, wherein the electric supply equipment comprises at least one medium-voltage power supply input; the medium-voltage main distributing system is used for configuring the at least one medium-voltage power supply input to multiple power supply outputs, wherein at least one power supply output in the multiple power supply outputs is accessed to the medium-voltage access system; the diesel power generation system comprises at least one diesel power generation unit, wherein the outputs of the diesel power generation units are accessed to the medium-voltage access system; the medium-voltage access system is accessed to the outputs of the medium-voltage main distributing system and the diesel power generation system; the transformer system is accessed to the output of the medium-voltage access system to convert voltage and supply power to load equipment for the data center.
