The disclosed composition comprises a polycarbonate polymer, a triacylglycerol release agent, and a monoacylglycerol release agent. In one embodiment, the thermoplastic composition comprises: greater than 90 wt%, based on the total weight of the composition, of a molten polycarbonate polymer; a triacylglycerol release agent; and a monoacylglycerol release agent. The total amount of triacylglycerol release agent and monoacylglycerol release agent is 0.01 wt% to 0.5 wt%, based on the total weight of the composition.
