Embodiment Construction

[0049] A time-varying curve model-based SAS image automatic equalization method provided by the present invention will be further described below in conjunction with specific drawings and embodiments.

[0050] Such as figure 1 As shown, a SAS image automatic equalization method based on a time-varying curve model of the present invention includes: time-varying curve model construction, time-varying curve parameter estimation, time-varying curve observation quantity estimation, and image dynamic equalization.

[0051] Based on the above-mentioned four partial operations, the specific steps for realizing the SAS image automatic equalization method based on the time-varying curve model include: step 1) constructing a time-varying curve model, and determining the parameters to be estimated in the time-varying curve model; The variable curve model can be expressed as:

Abstract

The invention provides an SAS (Synthetic Aperture Sonar) image automatic balance method based on a time variant curve (TVC). An expression of a TVC model is deduced on the basis of a sound propagation model, a water bottom backscattering model and an SAS imaging model. The TVC observed quantity is deduced in combination with the statistical characteristic of an SAS image, and TVC parameter estimation is completed by using a nonlinear least-squares fitting method based on the TVC observed quantity. At last, automatic balance of the SAS image is performed on the basis of the TVC parameter and the model thereof, and the SAS image automatic balance method is verified by using lake-sea test data. As proved by a verification result, the deduced TVC model expression has high goodness fit with the test data, and the problem of unbalance of the SAS image is solved effectively.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of image processing, in particular to an SVS image automatic equalization method based on a time-varying curve model. Background technique [0002] Affected by factors such as sound propagation loss, absorption loss, underwater backscattering intensity, and sound source level fluctuations caused by sonar transmitting and receiving systems, the sonar image intensity (brightness) often has relatively large fluctuations. Due to the different virtual aperture lengths corresponding to different distances, the intensity variation range of the synthetic aperture sonar (Synthetic Aperture Sonar, SAS) image will be larger. The unbalanced intensity of sonar images has a great impact on the interpretation and processing of sonar images. On the one hand, due to the limited dynamic range of image output devices (display screens, printers, etc.), unbalanced SAS image intensity may cause loss of important details or targe...
