The intelligent glass comprises two pieces of opposite glass base plates, carrier liquid crystals filled between the two glass base plates and dye molecules mixed in the carrier liquid crystal. The two glass base plates are electrically connected with two poles of a power supply module respectively. The dye molecules form a disorder array parallel to the glass base plates under the action of the carrier liquid crystals. According to the intelligent glass based on the electrical-response liquid crystal materials and the light adjusting method thereof, the dye molecules and the carrier liquid crystals are mixed, the obtained mixture is filled into the two glass base plates capable of being applied to voltage, the dye molecules are driven to deflect by driving voltage controlling the steering direction of the carrier liquid crystals, and blocking and passing of visible light is adjusted, so that the purpose of adjusting the light and shade of the intelligent glass is achieved.
