The present invention relates to an arch wire that is used during orthodontic treatment. In accordance to the present invention a five segment orthodontic arch wire to provide a track for movement of teeth for correcting misalignment of teeth, said arch wire generally having ‘U’ shape and having same longitudinal axis through out the length, said arch wire characterized by: first segment having rectangular cross section and being provided for the posterior, 2nd premolar and molar region in left side of the jaw; second segment having rectangular cross section with rounded off corners, said second segment is followed by said first segment and provided for the canine and first premolar region in left side of the jaw; third segment having rectangular cross section, said third segment is followed by said second segment and provided for the anterior, incisor region; fourth segment having rectangular cross section with rounded off corners, said fourth segment is followed by said third segment and provided for the canine and 1st premolar region in right side of the jaw; and fifth segment having rectangular cross section, said fifth segment is followed by said fourth segment and provided for the posterior, 2nd premolar and molar region in right side of the jaw, wherein said arch wire is single piece and continuous in construction. Also an orthodontic apparatus comprising a five segment orthodontic arch wire in accordance with the present invention along with slotted bracket is also provided.

Flexible clamp

A flexible clamp for clamping and spacing solar panel modules, including a captive flange forming a top portion, which includes a top face, a bottom face, a right side, a left side, a front side, a back side, a substantially planar underside to engage the modules upper surface. It also includes a longitudinal axis and an aperture disposed generally along that axis. First, second, and third horizontal members are disposed under the captive flange and include substantially planar surfaces generally parallel to the underside of the captive flange. Each horizontal member includes a right side, a left side, a front side, a back side, a width slightly less than the width of the captive flange, and an aperture coaxial with the aperture in the captive flange. A first vertical member connects the right side of the first horizontal member with the captive flange at a point slight right of the longitudinal axis and left of the right side, thus forming a right overhang for engaging a first solar panel. A second vertical member connects the left sides of the second and third horizontal members in such manner that a left overhang is formed, and this is adapted for engaging a second solar panel adjacent to the first panel. A third vertical member coplanar with the first vertical member connects the right sides of the second and third horizontal members. When a bolt is passed through the coaxial apertures and tightened, the clamp flexes and bows slightly outwardly.

Multi-configurable tractor

A tractor includes a motor, transmission, drive shaft and rear differential for driving the rear axles mounted on a main tubular frame of a variable configuration. Forwardly extendable telescoping tubular frame members are actuated by respective rams to selectively increase the wheel base between the front and rear wheels. The front and rear telescoping tubes supporting each of the wheels are selectively extendable to significantly increase the wheel width of the tractor; the axles for the rear wheels are commensurately extendable. A toolbar dependingly supported from the main frame in front of the cab permits the operator to view the operation of attached implements while driving. The toolbar may include a row guide causing the toolbar to move laterally as necessary to follow a row and the toolbar is connected to the steering mechanism to control the direction of travel of the tractor. The front wheels are pivotally mounted on the corresponding telescoping tubes to provide sufficient clearance to permit near 180° pivotal movement. The steering mechanism is capable of pivoting each front wheel through an angle of about 180° and establishes an appropriate geometric relationship between the front wheels to permit the tractor to turn about any center of rotation intersected by the common axis of rotation of the rear axle, including pivoting about either rear wheel, while maintaining the axis of rotation of each front wheel in intercepting relationship with the center of rotation. Moreover, the turn radius at the end of a row is minimal and can be further reduced by temporarily reducing the length of the frame. Various implements, including a toolbar, can be readily attached directly to the tubular frame at any location intermediate the front and rear axles, as necessary.
