A flexible clamp for clamping and spacing solar panel modules, including a captive flange forming a top portion, which includes a top face, a bottom face, a right side, a left side, a front side, a back side, a substantially planar underside to engage the modules upper surface. It also includes a longitudinal axis and an aperture disposed generally along that axis. First, second, and third horizontal members are disposed under the captive flange and include substantially planar surfaces generally parallel to the underside of the captive flange. Each horizontal member includes a right side, a left side, a front side, a back side, a width slightly less than the width of the captive flange, and an aperture coaxial with the aperture in the captive flange. A first vertical member connects the right side of the first horizontal member with the captive flange at a point slight right of the longitudinal axis and left of the right side, thus forming a right overhang for engaging a first solar panel. A second vertical member connects the left sides of the second and third horizontal members in such manner that a left overhang is formed, and this is adapted for engaging a second solar panel adjacent to the first panel. A third vertical member coplanar with the first vertical member connects the right sides of the second and third horizontal members. When a bolt is passed through the coaxial apertures and tightened, the clamp flexes and bows slightly outwardly.

An interferometer spectrometer that has reduced alignment sensitivity is described herein. Parallelism of an output ray pair formed by a single input ray is not affected by variations in relative alignment of the components. In comparison to other compensated interferometer designs, lateral separation errors in the output ray pair due to optical component misalignment are reduced. The reduced alignment sensitivity may be accomplished by utilizing simple planar components that are common to both light paths. The reduced alignment sensitivity and simplicity in design provides a more compact and more robust interferometer, with reduced manufacturing costs associated therewith. An elliptical field of view light source that utilizes an array of collimator lenses is also described. The light source provides a more compact design than a single circular collimator lens of the same area, and is suitable for single channel or multi-channel use.

A key for opening multiple axial pin locks has a base member with an indexing element and a number of lock pins, configured to match the keyways of the locks. The key has a microprocessor with access to information on the pin configuration for each lock to be opened, and the lock pins are selectively positioned along the base member to match the configuration of a key for a particular lock in response to the user entering an identification code for that lock. The lock pins can slidably engage recessed tracks in the base member, which serve to direct the lock pins parallel to an axis of the base member. A pin latching mechanism can be provided to secure the lock pins in the desired position.

It is an object of the present invention to make an oil-reservoir chamber independent from a motor chamber into which a refrigerant compressed by a compressor mechanism is introduced, thereby reducing a compressor in size. In a compressor 1, a partition member 7 is provided in a housing 3 on the opposite side from a compressor mechanism 4 with respect to a motor 5. The partition member 7 is pushed by a stator 5a of the motor 5, thereby liquid-tightly fixing the partition member 7 to the housing 3. The oil-reservoir chamber 6 is formed independently from a motor chamber 2 in which the motor 5 is accommodated, and lubricant oil is efficiently separated from a refrigerant with a simple structure.

The invention relates to a pin assembly which keeps single-piece, two-piece or multi-pieced yarn processing elements, especially yarn interlacing spinnerets or thermal treatment elements, in an exact position during an entire service life, despite the extreme effects of preparations used. Instead of a traditional soldered joint or an adhesive connection, mechanical clamping means are used to fix the dowel pins to one part of the spinneret. Fixation of the dowel pins is not affected by heat or chemical preparations. The clamping means consists of a simple clamping ring holding the dowel pin in position directly inside the body of the spinneret between the clamping pin and an after-body. The novel positioning solution can be used with individual parts of spinnerets, parts of spinnerets in machines or multiple parts of spinnerets. The dowel pins enable the entire spinneret to be substantially miniaturized and allow narrow separation between various yarn runs, which was previously impossible. The invention can be used advantageously in interlacing spinnerets or in stream treatment elements.

The transmission can perform the retarder function by placing a flow retarding valve in the re-circulating path in one or more of the pump / motors.
