Abstract

The invention relates to the field of a microwave device, and discloses a novel microstrip isolator based on an edge guided mode structure and a shielding structure. The novel microstrip isolation is composed of a magnetic circuit (1), a gasket (2), a permanent magnet (4), a ferrite substrate (5) and a microstrip circuit (6). The microstrip circuit (6) is manufactured on the surface of the ferrite substrate (5). The permanent magnet (3) is fixed in the magnetic circuit (1). The ferrite substrate (5) is fixed in the magnetic circuit. The magnetic pole (4) is connected with the permanent magnet (3). The magnetic circuit (1) has a semi-shielded structure. The microstrip circuit (6) has an edge guided mode structure. Through the semi-shielded structure, the novel microstrip isolation has beneficial effects of effectively utilizing the permanent magnet, improving magnetization degree of the ferrite substrate, reducing size of the isolator, and reducing weight of the isolator.
