[0028] In accordance with the teachings of the present invention, a complementary output generator (COG) module generates at least two complementary signals determined by rising and falling event sources. In a simple configuration of the COG module, the rising and falling event sources are the same signal, which can be, for example but not limited to, a PWM signal with a desired period and duty cycle. The COG module can convert this single input signal into at least two complementary output signals. The frequency and duty cycle of the at least two output signals substantially match the frequency and duty cycle of the single input signal.
