The invention discloses a germination-accelerating method of peony seeds, which includes the steps of (1) soaking the peony seeds in medical alcohol for 5 min; (2) soaking the peony seeds in a low-concentration indoleacetic acid solution for 1-3 days, taking out the peony seeds and air-drying the peony seeds in shade place; (3) performing pile-fermentation to the peony seeds, covering the peony seeds by a plastic film, maintaining the temperature at 20-30 DEG C for 3-5 days; and (4) mixing the peony seeds with clean river sand which is disinfected and is 5-10% in moisture and storing the peony seeds. When the peony seeds are soaked in the indoleacetic acid solution, it is beneficial to semina differentiation. The germination-accelerating method reduces germination-accelerating time, improves germination efficiency and is regular in germination.
