Abstract

The method includes following steps: in the conventional multi-domain heterogeneous optical network, a visualization server is additionally provided to accomplish the visualization mapping of various physical resources, an isomorphic virtual network is established, a master controller performs routing computation and resource allocation of the virtual network, and an obtained result is converted to a corresponding physical resource configuration instruction via the visualization server and sent to a subnet controller; and the subnet controller accomplishes resource allocation according to the instruction. The optical network control method is advantageous in that through virtualization mapping of the physical resources, the network control problem brought by an optical network heterogeneous transmission mechanism can be effectively solved, the blocking rate of a heterogeneous network is reduced, the utilization rate of resources is increased, and an important significance is attached to the improvement of scalability and multi-domain interoperability of the modern optical network.
