Abstract

The invention provides an identification method and system of a new building. The method comprises the following steps: obtaining engineering vehicles with stay behaviors; marking stay points of the engineering vehicles; obtaining a first wheelpath corresponding to each engineering vehicle with a stay behavior; obtaining a corresponding wheelpath set; determining whether a wheelpath aggregation phenomenon exists in the first wheelpath set; if so, obtaining a corresponding first driving area; determining whether the quantity of the stay points marked in the first driving area is greater than a preset stay point quantity threshold; and if so, matching the first driving area with map data to obtain a area where the new building is disposed. According to the invention, information of the new building in a specific area can be identified relevantly according to different demands of users so that convenience is provided for a third party, a traffic administration department or a navigation system.
