The invention discloses an optimization selection method for to-be-constructed projects of a power distribution network. The method comprises: analyzing a current situation index and a target index of the power distribution network in a region where the to-be-constructed projects are; grading the indexes; performing quantitative calculation on the indexes and calculating a weight of each index; calculating a final score of each to-be-constructed project; and calculating an optimization selection result of the to-be-constructed projects of the power distribution network according to the final scores as well as fund demands and total available funds of the to-be-constructed projects. According to the method, the current situation index and the target index of the power distribution network in the to-be-constructed project region are considered, an improvement effect on the indexes of the power distribution network is quantified, an objective actual effect is combined with expert experience to form an overall score of each project, and final to-be-constructed project selection is performed according to the total available funds and the project scores; the blindness and randomness of the to-be-constructed project selection process are avoided; and the method is scientific, reasonable and high in operability.
