Abstract

The present invention relates to a STATCOM (static synchronous compensator) simulation control method and system. The STATCOM simulation control method comprises: acquiring capacitor voltage data in a RT-LAB simulation device, and sending the capacitor voltage data to a main control board a STATCOM device controller; receiving modulating waves of each phase returned by the main control board according to capacitor voltage data, network voltage data and group valve current data of each phase, and receiving control commands sent by the main control board; generating a carrier, and comparing the modulating waves of each phase with the carrier to acquire sine pulse width modulated waves of each phase; and transmitting the control commands and the sine pulse width modulated waves of each phase to the RT-LAB simulation device, and adjusting amplitudes of the capacitor voltages of each phase through the RT-LAB simulation device according to the sine pulse width modulated waves of each phase and the control commands. According to the invention, the data exchange between the STATCOM device controller and the RT-LAB simulation device may be realized, and the generation of the sine pulse width modulated waves of the group valve model of the RT-LAB simulation device and the balance control of the group valve capacitor voltages of each phase may be realized.
