Abstract

The measurement method comprises the following steps: irradiating a sample to be detected by using paralleled light; receiving actually-measured light intensity of transmission light and scattered light; calculating an attenuation coefficient on light by the sample to be detected; and according to the attenuation coefficient and the actually-measured light intensity of the transmission light vertical to the transmission direction of the paralleled light, calculating compensation light intensity so as to obtain the turbidity of the sample to be detected. The measurement device comprises a body and at least two light detectors; the body is provided with a containing cavity and is used for receiving the sample to be detected; a light source and each light detector are located at the peripheral edge of the containing cavity; and at least one light detector is arranged at each of parts of the body in the light transmission direction of the light source and the light transmission direction vertical to the light source. According to the turbidity measurement method and device, the compensation of absorption coefficients in a water sample is carried out on the scattered light by using the transmission light, and the turbidity measurement precision is improved; and meanwhile, a turbidity measurement range is relatively large, and the design and production are convenient.
