Abstract

The cable tire bead comprises at least one outer winding layer which is wound in a circumferential direction of the tire, wherein at least one layer in the outer winding layer is a cord ply; and the cord ply comprises at least one cord which is obtained by twisting a plurality of monofilaments. According to the invention, a steel wire structure of partial winding is replaced with a cord structure in the cable tire bead; as the cord is obtained by twisting the plurality of monofilaments, the strength of the cord is higher than that of the steel wire and the weight of the cord is lower than that of the steel wire. Therefore, through replacing the steel wire with the cord in the cable tire bead, the integrated strength of the tire bead can be enhanced and the weight of the tire bead can be reduced. In addition, as the steel wire is replaced with the cord, the adhesive force between the winding and rubber can be also increased and the releasing resistance of the tire bead is increased.
