The invention provides a method and system of synchronizing television programs remotely. The method includes the following steps: installing the same software in two television program control devices; registering account numbers on the software separately and binding the two account numbers; selecting one of the television program control devices as a master control end; and enabling the television program control devices that are bound together to play the same program and change programs synchronously in a way that the master control end controls itself and controls the other television program control device.
